Our Story - Environmental Parliament at NUML

GROUP MEMBERS AND THEIR ROLES

Environmental Parliament at NUML is a Social Action Project having a slogan of "Breathing Green". This Project aims to promote environment-friendly activities through awareness-raising campaigns based on an integrated communication strategy focusing to inform, educate and motivate society. As this project is related to environmental sustainability, we have made a parliament at NUML which is comprised of 3 different committees having different topics related to the environment.

Our focus is on the following 3 topics;

• Trees for Life - Plantation Drives
• Waste Reduction - Cleanliness Drives
• Environmental Education - Awareness Campaigns on Environmental Sustainability.

We will strive to improve our environmental performance over time and to initiate different activities that will further reduce our impacts on the environment.
