Social action is about people coming together to help improve their lives and solve the problems that are important in their communities. It can include volunteering, giving money, community action or simple neighbourly acts. A social action project prepares students to identify, plan and carry out solutions to problems within their school, community and beyond. Social projects engage students in acting on their beliefs. In social action projects, students typically work cooperatively with other

Cybersecurity: The Realm of Digital World
Cybersecurity:
The Realm of Digital World
“If you think you
know-it-all about cybersecurity, this discipline was probably ill-explained to
you.”
The
digital age is surrounded by technology and IT. Everything has changed or we can say
that is currently being digitalized. This process is accelerated at a rapid
speed because of COVID 19, which pushes the world into the digital world. With
the proliferation of technologies such as mobile phones, cloud computing, and
Information and technology, the rise of artificial intelligence and
communications in many areas of business, governance, education, hospitals up
brings new challenges. One of them is the security level, Compliance, and
data protection.
This
digital transformation however paved the way for ease to work but also expose the
big challenges of cybersecurity. This is why cybersecurity is too important for
every individual living in this world. However, there are security gaps that lead to cyberattacks and cybercrime. This gap leads to the huge threat of data security challenges
to the public and private sectors both. Criminals are taking advantage of the
fact of that many governmental devices as
well as simple devices (e.g. televisions and Wi-Fi-cameras) – increasingly
software-controlled and connected to the Internet show inherent vulnerabilities
and lack regular updates. Hackers are using these weak spots. They try to gain
access to the software of these devices to conduct these cyber-attacks.
“Quantum Encryption
is essential to protect our digital assets and infrastructure from attackers.”
The world is increasingly connected to the Internet or
adapted digitized through information technology. The cybersecurity threat is
growing day by day. Pakistan is no exception. Pakistan is a nuclear state with an important
geopolitical position, which is exposed to such threats in cyber realms. So are
the public and private sectors. Pakistan has a large
internet users base, an increasing digitized security apparatus as well a
banking system, which depends on internet connectivity. Pakistan has also
incorporated laws to tackle threats emanating from cyber-attacks, which do not
seem to cover the threats in-depth and wholeness. In July 2021, Pakistan introduced
its first cybersecurity policy. As threats evolve and come from varied foes
and adversaries, we must continuously assess them and make necessary
modifications and rectifications in our strategy. In this perspective, the study
assesses Pakistan’s cyberspace, identifies threats, and makes recommendations to
eliminate those threats. It further discusses Pakistan’s legal development on
the subject and the way forward.
“The only way to maintain privacy on the internet is to not
be on the internet.”

Team cybersecurity for youth.
