On 4 January 2021 we had a meeting with Director of Business incubation center and IT CON, NUML, Dr. Atta Ullah about our project. At first he encouraged us and motivated us to do our best in this project because it can be very effective in our learning process. We had a very brief discussion on issues faced by faculty and students during online learning, He mentioned some pros and cons of online learning which were:
Cons:
It was difficult to have and eye on each student in online classes.
Softer connectivity issues on both teachers and student side.
Less level of interest from student side.
Information Technology illiteracy from side of some teachers.
Issues faced in infrastructure, backup storage at IT side.
Hands on experience issues on student side in lab students.
Exams was a big challenge faced during online classes.
Grading challenge from teacher’s side.
Viva were being taken in order to ensure about no unfairness with students.
Attendance issue was being faced.
Fruitful environment need from teacher side.
Pros:
In expensive, students can take classes from home and save travel fairs.
Makeup classes were taken at any time.
Everyone can learn in a comfortable environment at their home.
