“Persuasion is better than force”
After
approaching the relevant stakeholders we went for persuading the public for the
best practices and taking measures in order to conserve the most precious natural
resource on the earth “water”.
For
that, we selected two sectors; i9 and i10 of Islamabad. On 10 December 2021, we
held a campaign in the i9 sector Islamabad where we talked to people regarding water
usage in the streets of i9 and pasted poster on the walls, doors of schools,
mosques, and houses. Moreover, we visited various locations of i10 and provide
water conservation measures to the people. Our Team made people believe that
conservation of water can ensure that supplies of fresh water will be available
for everyone, today and tomorrow. It was a great experience, the people responded
properly and appreciate our initiative and few government officials regarded it
as (SAWAB).
